I would like
to know the following:
1.) If I send you a CD with a photograph on it can you turn it into
a multi-tile Mural. Eg. Several tiles make the whole photo.
2.) Is the pricing per tile?
3.) How do I know how many tile's I'll need?
4.) Do you have a phone number I could call?
I really love your artwork/photo transfer idea for tile.
Please let me know soon!
Bathroom remodel needs to be completed!!!
Thanks,

Thank you for
your e-mail and interest in our full-color, custom-printed, ceramic
and glass decorative wall tiles.
Yes, you can send us a CD with your digital photograph on it.
Please make sure that it has as high a resolution as possible and is
as large in physical dimensions as possible. Since we have to
"blow-up" any digital photograph to the size of the final wall
mural, a deterioration of image quality has to be expected and
accepted in most cases. For further details on this, you might want
to also consult the following web page:
http://www.fullcolortiles.com/admin/digital-art.htm
The prices shown in our price list are either per tile or per
mural, so that our customers can select the most convenient price
right from here:
http://www.fullcolortiles.com/admin/prices.htm
Please note that the prices we list in our web site are for tile
decorations for which our customers submit "camera ready" digital
image files for each tile in question. That is, a different image
part of the final mural for each and every tile used. For example:
if your mural is comprised of 36 tiles, you'd have to submit 36
different image files in a resolution of at least 300 dpi's AND in
the physical dimensions of the tiles that comprise the mural. Thus,
a single CD (or even DVD) might not be large enough to hold all the
required digital image files in the .tif or PhotoShop formats.
Should you submit a single image and have us do the "partition"
work, a separate fee will apply which we can determine upon receipt
of your final digital image file and indication of the mural's final
size and number of tiles and tile size desired.
To best determine the final size of your mural, you might want to
consider dividing a given tile size (as indicated in our web site)
into the dimensions of the available space in your bathroom (or
anywhere else, for that matter) so as to obtain the nearest number
of entire tiles in their respective tile size horizontally as
well as vertically.
Since all our work is custom work, all communications between us and
any customer has to be in writing, preferably
e-mail. |
